Race Information
What?
The Cerberus 3 Day Expedition Stage Race is THREE 10-12 hour days of adventure racing.
Participants will go out and look for checkpoints in the forest for the allotted time. Teams (2-4) are welcome.
No GPSes are allowed - only map and compass.
Where?
The event will be held at the Blue Ridge Boyscout Reservation near Hiwassee, VA.
When?
The event is from Friday, 2 May 2025 to Sunday, 4 May 2025.You will start each morning after a full breakfast and go for 10-12 hours, returning to Camp Powhatan each evening.
How Much?
Regular registration is $500 for all three days. LATE REGISTRATION: Price goes up in mid-February and again in mid-March to come play with us.What's Included?
Your entry includes pre-plotted maps, branded gear, and breakfast and dinner on Fri/Sat/Sun
People who register after March 1st WILL NOT get any branded gear.
Lodgings?
We are providing free camoping on the Blue Ridge Scouting Reservation property.You can book a cabin through the BRSR, or stay in a nearby hotel or AirBnb.

Open to all adventure racers - beginners and more experienced alike!

Mandatory Gear??
We will be using a modified version of the ARWS gear list.
USARA Race
The Cerberus is a USARA-sanctioned event. Racers must either have an annual USARA membership or purchase a single-event license through RunSignUp when they sign up for the race.
Annual membership is instrumental in sustaining USARA’s efforts to support the US-based AR community and host an annual National Championship.
In addition to supporting the community as a whole and having single-event fees waived, annual membership includes access to ExpertVoice,
an incredible resource for athletes that unlocks pro-deals to hundreds of name-brands.
